La Regia

The trip to Mexico yielded at least one sketch. I kinda wish I had done less drinking and more sketching. Thing is you don't need a flat surface or a pencil sharpener to drink.

View from hotel in Santiago.

Savoring the "flavors" of the motherland.

Side effects of the "flavors" of the motherland.

Fattening "flavors" of the motherland.

...and the hotel that didn't have working internet. Boo.

New Website

So less sketches, more work. I've been working on a website for a local furniture company. Lots of awesome furniture, cutting edge style and I'm trying hard to capture it. Let me know what you think. Be honest, because I really want to make it look nice. Its a little clunky, and the photos aren't all uploaded but aside from that let me know if you'd like to see something more on the site. Thanks kiddos.

Monsterish Icons

A few character illustrations that came up from some sketches.
Blah. Blah. Blah.

Taters to Turtles

I found the little geometric shapes in seasoned potatoes intriguing, so why not paint them? Oddly enough the result turned out looking like a turtle shell ... go figure.

Mmm... greasy.

Oooh... sketches.

And so it began to look like a turtle shell.

Clau stealing my thunder.

6 holes and 3 bent nails later it's finally on the wall.

Phone Doodles

It's not that I'm not drawing, it's that I'm not scanning. Blockheads have me intrigued right now so I'll keep 'em coming.

I drew on the cartons below earlier this week.
I'm calling them "I like you."

Killing Time 2.0

It needed a little more detail. I think it needs more background too. Lets just consider this a work in progress.

Beach Comber

Put on the new wheels courtesy of J.R. and rolled to the beach for an afternoon stroll. Such a great feeling.

The Black Mamba

The latest addition to my family, a '66 Chevy Malibu/Chevelle SS. Reminiscent of my fathers (one I never saw) so I decided to continue the tradition. This little guy sits quietly in my garage but I take him out on those sweet sunny days since nothing really works other than the steering... and even that doesn't work too good.

Thanks to Junior, I've got me some better than donut wheels that were already strapped onto the lil' champ. If the sun pokes its head out this weekend I'll shoot a couple pics with the new spokes. I took these photos with my cell phone so they're just ok, but hopefully I'll show the progress as I get into it.
