A Dahlia For Dahlia

Finished this up these acrylic Dahlias over the holiday. I completely forgot that I had painted these but thankfully took photos with the trusty phone to document the magical painting process.

 

Golden Lotus Blossom

Some paintings I worked on over the holiday as well. They were simple designs but I was content with the textures and the way the gold reflected off the red. Although I can't say the photos do them much justice, I was really proud of the results.

Cigar From Afar

A painting that transpired from some sketches that I painted over the 2007-08 winter holiday. I guess I'm gonna call it Cigar From Afar.









For my own reference this bad lil' bear is headed to Miami. Let's see how long it lasts with all that humidity.

Taters to Turtles

I found the little geometric shapes in seasoned potatoes intriguing, so why not paint them? Oddly enough the result turned out looking like a turtle shell ... go figure.

Mmm... greasy.
